Nose To The Dark Night (poetry)

Dark night this night of Mayaloo
Your pointed face and I to you
Watchful dark your eyes to nose
A drift and lap the wind doth blow
One eye I caught, the sound oh gulls,
Peering night round Cape that grows
A child fought under ships red flag
Rum turned drunk, black tattered rags
Be you lost my ears not know
Laughter lost sight let me let go,
Tug ships leap through nights dark throws,
Slightly free to wet her toes
Her breath a whale your nose to frame
Mayaloo oh loo I call your name
Come tall soul of ship and sound
Find I rest be you now found
Loo lo lee that girl behind
For you come nigh to our kind
